The Aid & International Development Forum (previously International Aid & Trade) is the world's leading forum for humanitarian relief professionals to cement relationships, build partnerships, gain understanding and share experiences. Having been acquired by Henley Media Group in 2005, International Aid & Trade ran in Geneva in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and in 2009 the event moved to Washington D.C.
The event brings together experts from the humanitarian relief, aid and development sectors to network and improve coordination and communication, thereby increasing the effectiveness of humanitarian aid response and relief while driving investment towards the suppliers of fundamental and innovative goods and services.
2011 Event - Washington D.C.
From June 8-9th 2011, the Aid & International Development Forum took place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Centre, in Washington D.C.

2010 Event - Washington D.C.
On July 22-23 2010, the Aid & International Development Forum (AIDF) came to Washington D.C. for the second year after undergoing a rebrand, to include more aid development focused agencies. Participants travelled from around the world to view the 120 exhibitor stands, take part in workshop sessions with speakers from organizations such as the UN, USAID and The American Red Cross and network with others across the aid and development sectors.

2009 Event - Washington, D.C.
On July 9-10 2009, the international Aid & Trade event took place in Washington D.C. moving from Geneva, Switzerland in partnership with InterAction, the largest coalition of U.S. based international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs). Experts from the humanitarian relief, aid and development sectors came together to encourage more effective humanitarianism aid response and relief leading towards sustained development on a global scale.
2008 Event - Geneva, Switzerland
On January 29-30 2008, the international Aid & Trade event took place at Geneva PALEXO in Switzerland for the third consecutive year. Experts from the UN, aid agencies, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), business and academia came together to address international relief issues and generate solutions to the growing number of emergencies around the world.
2007 Event - Geneva, Switzerland
On January 29-30 2007, the second annual international Aid & Trade event took place at Geneva PALEXPO in Switzerland. It brought together humanitarian relief experts from around the world to discuss and share knowledge about international relief issues and share knowledge on how to improve disaster relief efforts.
2006 Event - Geneva, Switzerland
On January 24-25 2006, the global humanitarian relief community came together at Geneva PALEXPO in Switzerland to embrace the challenge of integrated aid and development at the first annual international Aid & Trade event.
