Andrew Thorburn is the founder of Global Benefits Group Foundation (GBG Foundation). A well known entrepreneur and former educator, Mr Thorburn has operated globally for many years and been acutely aware of the lack of access to essential equipment and materials in developing countries, particularly in the fields of healthcare and education. GBG Foundation is the realization of his vision to make a difference and create a GIK focused nonprofit dedicated to improving access to essential goods in places of need. An outspoken advocate of corporate responsibility Mr Thorburn continues to serve as President and CEO of Global Benefits Group, a position he has held since 1999.
