Communications Cooperative International (CCI)

Maria A. Kendro is Executive Director of Communications Cooperative International (CCI), an organization dedicated to expanding access to information and communications technologies (ICTs) to underserved communities around the world through community-based, private-sector service delivery.  She has over 20 years of public and private sector experience in information and communications technology, international development and project management.   Prior to co-founding CCI, Ms Kendro was vice president for international programs at the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA).  Her career has included 10 years with Sprint in legal and regulatory executive positions, and two years as business development advisor for the Peace Corps in Central Asia.  She is or has been active in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
