Sergio Ramírez has 20 years of international development experience focusing on innovations in educational reform, policy dialogue, education management information systems and institutional reform of the education sector in Latin America and Africa.  He started his career as information management consultant at the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C.   Since 2006, he has been Senior Program Director for the Equatorial Guinea Education Program and education advisor. The program focuses on improving quality of primary education nationally by upgrading teacher skills, improving schools, promoting parent participation and education information systems for policy dialogue and institutional capacity building.
